Centre for Cardiovascular Disease in the Young

The Centre for Cardiovascular Disease in the Young is dedicated to advancing the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular conditions affecting young adults and supports the transition from pediatric cardiovascular care to living with a chronic cardiovascular condition in early adulthood. These conditions include aortic disease, valvular heart disease, heart failure, heart rhythm disturbances, and muscular dystrophies. The Centre places a special emphasis on young patients who require long term management during a period of life marked by social change, relocation, and transition to the workforce and is committed to delivering this care with compassion and empathy, involving families and loved ones along the way.

The Centre for Cardiovascular Disease in the Young is dedicated to advancing the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular conditions affecting children, adolescents, and young adults.

Through cutting-edge research, innovative clinical care, and comprehensive education, we strive to improve outcomes, empower families, and shape the future of heart health for young adults. We are committed to multidisciplinary collaboration and global partnerships that foster excellence, equity, and compassion in cardiovascular care for the young.
